Because of the ardent devotion and Seva of the Kullavis Shree Ramnath Devasthan prospered year by year. The Kullavis or Mahajans who had spread all over Gomantaka, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala etc. had not forgotten their Devasthan. They now, started establishing contacts with the Devasthan. Years after years, decades after decades passed and more than two hundred years rolled by. The temples which had been built earlier had now aged and had worn out. There was an urgent neccessity of erecting New Temples.
In a meeting held on the Day of Dusserah the question of building new temples was prominently discussed. All present unanimously decided "The New Temple should be Big and Glorious, befitting the glory of the Kullavis".
Subscriptions started flowing in from Kullavis. The new plan of the Devalaya was drawn. On an auspicious Muharata the foundation stone was laid and the construction was started. The best materials like sand, stones, lime etc. were brought. A devoted Kullavi late Shanu Shenai Kirtani carefully supervised the construction.
On the 10th day of Falguna, Krodhinama Sauvatsar Shake 1826 Thursday, the 16th March 1905, Punarvasu Nakshatra, in the Holy presence of Gokarn Partagalli Mathadish Shri Mat Indirakant Tirtha Shripad Wader Swami, the Idols were installed in the following manner:
In the main garbhagara
1)
Shree Lakshmi Narayan top most
2) below that
Shree Ramnath Linga in the centre
3) in the garbhagara at right
Shree Kamaksha
4) in the garbhagara at left
Shree Shanteri and
Shree Sidhinath in a "niche" on the right wall on Pradakshana Marg.
The Temple of
Shree Betal and Shree Kalabhairav were quite strong, so they were not touched.
An Agrashala to the right side was built by Ghodekar family of Cumbharjuva at own expenses. Similarly two Agrashalas to the left were built one by Juvarkar family and other adjacent to it by Malye family.
An Agrashala behind the temple towards the West was built by the Devasthan at own expenses. It had a first floor of wood planks on which there were 5/6 rooms made of wooden partitions.
The office of the Devasthan was near the Malye Agrashala to the East. Afterwards separate building for office was built by the Devasthan. It used to be called "Bungalow". It has a hall for meetings in the front and behind it, the office of the committee and resting place for them. On the ground floor there was an arrangement for the residence of Secretary of the committee. It was inaugurated on Akashaya Tritiya day of 1946.
NAGARKHANA
The nagarkhana of Ramnath Devasthan is not worthy. As we enter through Mahadwar and walk the broad passage above along Talli and enter the Nagarkhana after climbing up the stairs, we see the Garbhagara of
Shree Ramnath dazzling with lights. The plan of the Nagarkhana building was drawn by a retired Portuguese Government Architect Late Shri Uppi Babli Kamat. There is a marble plaque on the wall indicating the date of inauguration and a surprising feature of this plaque is that there is an image of Bharatmata on it holding the Tricolour, which was not objected to, even during the Portuguese Regime. The total cost of the Nagarkhana was borne by Barrister Parashurama Masurekar, a Kullavi.
SABHA MANDAP
At the place where there is the huge and vast building of the Mandap now, a pandal of coconut leaves used to be erected in the month of Magha and that Mandap used be there, till Vaishakhs or the onset of rains. Over the steps leading to the entrance of the temple there was a shade of corrugated sheets. Pundalik Anant Keni and brother, Mahajan devotees from Panaji had resolved to construct a permanent Sabhamandap for the Devalaia. However their plans did not materialise for want of favourable circumstances. In the meantime four other Mahajans expressed their desire to build the same but all of them did not get favourable assent (kaul) from the Deity. Keni Brothers at first had decided to build the Mandap by erecting cast iron pillars on cement foundation and accordingly they had even brought such pillars.
When the circumstances were favourable late Shri Anant Vishwanath Keni (Baba Keni) and brothers decided to fulfil the resolve of their ancestors and sought the necessary assent (kaul) of
Shree Ramnath which they received promptly. A plan was prepared by an expert Architect from Bombay and after preliminary preparations, the foundation stone was laid at the hand of H.H. Shrimat Dwarkanath Tirth Shripad Wader, the Swami Maharaj of Partagal on the auspicious day of Akshaya Trirtiya of 1950. The construction work started in full swing.
The work was completed within a period of one year and on the Akshayatritiya day of 1951 it was formally inaugurated at the hands of H.H. Swami Maharaj only. The function was attended by a large number of Mahajans and Devotees. The construction of the Sabhamandap has been sound, strong and beautiful. Its layout is quite different from Sabhamandaps of other temples. The speciality of this Mandap is that it has the arrangements of two galleries on the top, for lady spectators, one on each side, without any supporting pillar. At the entrance of the Sabhamandap there is an arrangement for putting up a stage for drama performances.
NEW BUILDINGS
The Agrashalas built by families like Ghodekar, Juwarkar, Malaye etc. had now aged and there was an acute shortage of accommodation and the necessity of Agrashalas with modern amenities was badly felt.
The committee which took charge in 1965 took bold steps of demolishing the Agrashalas of Malaye & Juvarkar which were on the southern side. Foundation was put in 1966 and in 1968 a building of ground plus three floors was completed. For the first time in Devasthan history, there were rooms with amenities like water, electricity, toilets etc. Its cost at the that time was Rs. Five lakhs. Except for Rs. One lakh from the reserve fund, the remaining four lakhs were collected by benevolent donations from Kullavis. In this Agrashala there are two halls, one Ramnath Hall on the 1st floor whose cost was donated by Shri J. Ramadas Nayak and the other Vetal Hall on the third floor whose cost was donated by Shri Manjanath Vithoba Shanbag.
The committee which took charge in 1968 decided to build a new temple for
Shree Betal and
Shree Kalabhairav and also an Agrashala on the right side of the temple. The committee undertook a tour to Kolhapur, Pune, Mumbai, etc. in July' 68 and in September'68 tour of South Karnataka, Kerala etc. They visited more than 30 places. In 1969 again they made a tour of some more places of Karnataka. The response of the Kullavis towards the proposed construction was overwhelming.
The new temple building for
Shree Betal and
Shree Kalabhairav was completed in July'72. At the place where the new mandir is situated there was Ghodekar family's Agrashala and the place where there is new Yadnya Mandap and the store-house building is, there were two small seperate old temples of
Shree Betal and Kalbhairav. On the ground floor and the first floor of the south Agrashala there are small blocks having one room, kitchen and bathroom. At the Western end of the Agrashala there are two halls, one on the ground floor called Kamaksha Hall and the other on the first floor called Shanteri Hall. The rehearsals of Devasthan dramas, and meetings of Mahajans are held in the Shanteri Hall.
SHREE BETAL AND KALBHAIRAV MANDIR
The Construction work of this Mandir was completed in 1972 and the idols of Shree Betal and Shree Kalbhairav were installed on Jestha Dwitiya shake 1894 i.e in July 1972 in the Holy presence of H.H. Shrimad Dwarkanath Tirtha Swami Maharaj. Late Shri Shantaram Ranga Nayak had resolved to build this temple but he expired when the construction work was going on. But his sons paid the cost of building the Mandir. The cost of the new idol of Shree Kalabhairav which is installed in the new temple was doanted by Shri Atchut R. Shenvi Talauliker.
PURVAS OF THE GANAS
At present, all the "Purvas of Gana" are installed on an enbankment to the right of Shree Betal Mandir. Formerly they were at scattered places.
YADNYA MANDAP
The old Yadnya Mandap was situated to the left of
Shree Shanteri Mandir. But since it was insufficient, the work of constructing a new Yadnya Mandap was started at the place where there is now
'ALAYA' of Kulpurusha of Kunkolienkar, Sadekar etc. When the walls had come up a little, Late Shri Pursobab Keni and some old Mahajans suggested during a general body meeting that the place was not suitable. Accordingly a new Yadnya Mandap was constructed at the present palce and it was inaugurated at the Holy Hands of Shrimad Vidyadhirajtirth Swami on 15.07.1978.
STOREHOUSE FOR DIFFERENT VAHANAS OF DIETIES
Earlier devasthan had only a few Vahanas such as Lalakhi, Palakhi, etc. When the Vahanas like Vijayrath, Ambari etc were added to the number, the necessity of a suitable building was acutely felt. Accordingly a new building with spacious ground floor for storage of vahanas, with a hall and store rooms on the 1st floor was built and was inaugurated at the Holy Hands of Shrimad Vidyadhirajtirth Swami on 12th April, 1979.
The Devasthan constructed one storeyed building there. On the ground floor there is the office of
Shree Ramnath Charities, some shops and two canteens. The first floor was rented to a High School of Vidyaprasarak Mandal where they were running their classes with office on the ground floor where Shri Atmaram Keni has his shop now. The king of Saundem late constructed a special building for school, so they vacated the floor and the ground floor office. Thereafter the Devasthan converted the classrooms into residential rooms leaving a hall (Kalabhairav Hall).
MAHADWAR
Old Mahadwar had become very old, so a marble Mahadwara was built with marble stones brought from Jaipur by artisans from Jaipur only. It was inaugurated by H.H Shrimad
Vidyadhirajtirth Swami Maharaj on Paush Sudha Triodashi on 12.01.1987.
TALLI

Talli of Devasthan is just by the road side near Mahadwara. There is an outlet 0for water from talli, when it gets overflooded in rainy season. In 1976-77,the steps of Talli were covered with%20chequered tiles. As we go towards Nagarkhana to the right there is an "Awali tree" and infront of that there is a small altar place with a dome where Shree Ramnath Idol is seated during Awali Bhojan or Vasant Puja. A latamandap is made infront of the altar by using the iron pillars which were brought by Keni brothers for Sabhamandap. The broad passage from Mahadwara to Nagarkhana is fitted also with chequered tiles.
VIDYADHIRAJ HALL

The first floor of the Agrashala behind the temple was demolished and there, a modern and beautiful Hall was constructed. Adjacent to that hall, another building of single blocks was constructed. It was built by the committee with Prabhaker Talaulikar as the President. The Vidyadhiraj Hall was inaugurated by H.H Shrimad Vidyadhirajtirth Swamiji on 22.11.1993 Kartik Shudha Navami shake 1915.
THE NEW OFFICE BUILDING
The new office building (bungalow) was insufficient for the present needs, so a new building where there is an arrangement for residence of Swamjii was constructed during the Presidentship of Prabhaker Talauliker just below Purushalaya to the left side on the way to Raghunath Bhatji's residence. It has on the ground floor office and store. On the floor above that there is Committee's Office and resting place for the committee members. On the floor above that there is Pujaghar for Swamji and Residence. It was inaugurated on the Mahashivratri Day of 1995. But again later a new office complex was built in the same place where the old bungalow was situated with office, a place for canteen and 4 residential blocks for committee.
PURUSHALAYA
In the prakar of Devasthan there was a very small Mandir of Nayak Kulapurush infront of Shree Kamaksha Mandir. There is a reference to that in the annals of Partagalli Math, that this Purusha Mandir, was repaired by H.H. Purnapradnyatirth Swamiji. Besides, there were one or two Kulpurusha Ghumatis(very small Mandir) in the prakar. Some Kullavis expressed their desire to install their kulpurushas in the prakar, if suitable building is constructed. Accordingly a long building having arrangements for seven Kulpurushas was constructed in1977-78. The Kulpurushas installed there, are in this order:(1)Malaye (2) Chittal (3) Mahale (4) Nayak (5) Pai (6) Shenai Lotliker (7) Kare
The building which was half constructed for Yadnya Mandap was later on completed and it was decided in 1980 to install there more Kulpurushas. Accordingly at present there are 3 Kulpurushas installed there. They are: (1) Sadekar, Kunkolienkar, Rataboli (common Purush) (2) Nayak (Rivona) (3) Shanbhag.
DEEPASTAMBHA

The Devasthan had a 5 storeyed Deepastambha to the left side of Sabhamandap. It was repaired, replastered, fitted with electric lamps and a beautiful square enbankment of stones was constructed at the base in 1975. On the lower portion of the Deepastambh there are fitted eight cement plaster images which are beautifully painted. They are (1) Sant Ramadas (2) Sant Namdev (3) Sant Tukaram (4) Sant Dyaneshwar (5) Sadhwi Mirabai (6) Ramakrishna Paramahauns (7) Vivekanand (8) Sant Eknath.
NAIVEDYA GHAR
While bringing cooked Naivedya from their houses, the archakas had a great difficulty because on the way sometimes, other people touched them, so it was suggested that there should be special room for carrying Naivedya in the Devasthan premises. Accordingly a small house was built for this purpose by the committee in 1998. The archakas now cook Naivedya there.
